Role & responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the psychology laboratory, ensuring it is well-

organized, secure, and conducive to teaching and research.

Maintain and update the inventory of psychological tests, lab equipment, and software.

Set up and calibrate equipment prior to practical sessions or experiments.

Assist faculty and students during practical classes, psychological assessments,

research experiments, and in the administration of exams.

Maintain accurate records of lab usage, psychological test materials issued, equipment logs, and schedules.

Ensure adherence to ethical standards and institutional guidelines for psychological testing and human participant research.

Support research and student projects

Assist with the procurement of psychological tests, lab materials,



and software required for teaching and research activities.

Ensure the lab is organized, and stocked with necessary materials at all times.

Requirement:

MA/MSc in Psychology

Prior experience in a psychology laboratory, research setting, or technical support role is desirable.

Working knowledge of psychological assessments, experimental design, and data collection methods.

Proficiency in using psychological software and statistical tools is an advantage.

Robust organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty,

students, and researchers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
