Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lab Assistant / Teaching Assistant to support the academic and practical activities within the AVGC department. The ideal candidate will assist faculty during studio-based classes, manage lab equipment and software, support students with assignments and technical queries, and help maintain a productive learning workplace.

Academic/Studio Support

- Assist in conducting lab sessions, workshops, and practical classes
- Guide students in the use of animation, editing, and compositing software like Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Maya, After Effects, etc.
- Support student projects by providing feedback on technical execution (lighting, rigging,rendering, editing, etc.).




- Consistently execute ongoing social media promotions like posts/reels/videos.
- Maintain attendance and records for practical sessions.
- Set up hardware and software for animation, VFX, Comics, Gaming and digital design
- classes.
- Manage and troubleshoot systems (Mac/PC), graphic tablets, cameras, lights, an audio-visual equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Freshers/ 1-2 years of experience in an academic or studio environment.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and working with students.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of AV equipment, DSLR cameras, and lighting setups is a plus.
