- The L2 Network Engineer core role will focus on in-depth troubleshooting, managing routine configurations, and resolving escalated network incidents regarding routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex network outages and performance bottlenecks. Conduct deep technical triage and root cause analysis (RCA) before escalating severe (P1/P2) incidents to L3.
- Manage and update network appliances such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. Perform routine firmware upgrades, deploy patches, and execute approved change requests.
- Enforce network security policies, configure site-to-site VPNs, and manage access control lists. Analyze traffic patterns and reconfigure routing protocols to optimize overall network speed and efficiency.
- Utilize network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) to proactively monitor network health, bandwidth usage, and latency. Maintain and support DNS and DHCP protocols.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, update technical documentation,



and track all troubleshooting steps in ticketing systems.
- Handling of the network incident and doing RCA, finding improvement areas.
- Coordinating with different teams for smooth communication and to ensure the timely deliveries
- Secondary Skill Sets must have flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends

Education

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (in Technical Stream) with a minimum of 15 years of education.

Experience

- 5-6 years working experience in IT industry.
- Open for working in extended shifts if required.
- Candidate should have strong knowledge on VPN, Security and Network, DNAC, WLC, R&S;, Wireless, CISCO-ISE.
- Good communication, and Vendor management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability. Other Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training – if required).
- CCNA/CCNP Certified Preferable.
- Proficiency in MS-Visio, Project, PowerPoint and excel.
