Role & responsibilities

- Provide L2 technical support for servers, infrastructure, and data centre environments.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, CPU, memory, disk, and system performance issues.

- Manage and troubleshoot VMware ESXi, vCenter, and virtual machines.

- Handle server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.

- Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, TCP/IP, and basic networking issues.

- Monitor NMS/EMS and infrastructure alerts and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

- Manage storage, SAN, RAID, backup, and restore operations.

- Perform incident, problem, and change management as per ITIL processes.

- Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and BCP activities.

- Coordinate with L3 teams, OEMs, vendors, and other technical teams for complex issues.

- Maintain system documentation, incident reports, and operational records.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring infrastructure issues.

- Ensure infrastructure availability, security, and compliance as per organizational standards.

- Participate in UAT/ATP, preventive maintenance, and data centre operations.
