Role Description The Carpeter role at CAREERBLOC is a full-time, remote position focused on providing expert carpet installation, maintenance, and consultation support to clients and partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project requirements, advising on carpet types and materials, and planning layouts to meet safety, durability, and aesthetic standards.

The Carpeter will guide clients through best practices for installation and care, coordinate with project managers or vendors, and document work specifications and recommendations. This role also involves troubleshooting flooring-related issues,



ensuring compliance with relevant safety guidelines, and maintaining clear, professional communication with stakeholders in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

- Robust practical knowledge of carpet installation, repair, and maintenance, including measuring, cutting, and fitting techniques.
- Familiarity with different carpet materials, underlay options, adhesives, and tools, and their appropriate use in residential and commercial settings.
- Ability to interpret floor plans, project specifications, and client requirements to recommend effective carpet solutions.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and ergonomic practices related to flooring and interior environments.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear remote guidance and support.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work setup.
- Previous experience as a carpet installer, flooring specialist, or in a related trade role; certification or vocational training in flooring or construction is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, project management software, virtual meeting platforms) for remote collaboration.
