Media Communications & Alumni Affairs (Media Cell)

The Media Cell of RV College of Engineering serves as the creative and communications hub of the institution. Established to enhance the college's visibility and engage its audience, the Media Cell plays a pivotal role in shaping the college's narrative through various media channels.

With a focus on creativity and innovation, the Media Cell is responsible for producing high-quality visual and written content for both digital and print platforms. This includes designing posters, banners, and other promotional materials, managing social media accounts, and creating engaging multimedia content such as videos and animations.

Working closely with different departments, student bodies and alumni, the Media Cell acts as a bridge, ensuring that the college's activities and achievements are effectively communicated to its stakeholders. Through its efforts, the Media Cell helps to strengthen the college's brand image and foster a sense of community among students, faculty, alumni, and the public.

Title: Junior Media Executive

Responsibilities:

- Cover events, podcasts, and institutional activities through skilled photography and videography
- Handle camera, lighting, and basic audio setup for podcasts and video shoots
- Capture interviews, testimonials,



and candid moments with strong storytelling approach
- Edit photos and videos to create industry-standard content including reels, teasers, highlights, and full-length videos
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency
- Plan shot lists, content flow, and technical requirements before shoots
- Deliver raw and edited content within defined timelines
- Support live coverage, podcast production, and quick social media uploads
- Manage, maintain, and handle media equipment responsibly
- Organise, archive, and backup media assets systematically

Skills & Requirements

- Proficiency in DSLR/mirrorless cameras and audio gear
- Strong understanding of framing, lighting, and composition
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for thumbnails
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Creative mindset with attention to detail

Qualification & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Media, Film, Communication, or related field
- 02 years of experience (Freshers with strong portfolio encouraged)Role & responsibilities
