Location: Showroom / Branch Office

Reports To: Senior Interior Designer / Showroom Design Lead

Role Overview The Junior Interior Designer supports the design team in translating client requirements into functional, aesthetic modular interior solutions (kitchens, wardrobes, and space-saving furniture). This role combines creative drafting, client assistance, and technical preparation—offering hands-on exposure to high-end modular manufacturing projects from concept through factory handoff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Drafting Support

- Create 2D layout plans, elevation drawings, and 3D renders using design software based on senior designer briefs and client inputs.
- Customize modular cabinetry, hardware selections, finishes, and space-planning configurations according to company product catalogs.
- Prepare complete Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and price estimates for client approval.

2. Client Engagement & Showroom Tours

- Conduct guided showroom walkthroughs to explain modular materials, mechanisms, finishes, and display layouts to prospective clients.
- Assist senior designers during client meetings by presenting material samples, color swatches, and mood boards.
- Record minute details during consultation sessions and update project files accordingly.

3. Site Measurement & Technical Coordination

- Visit project sites to take precise physical measurements of walls, plumbing, electrical outlets, and structural civil conditions.

- Cross-check field measurements against preliminary drawings to eliminate execution errors before production.
- Coordinate with the factory technical team to ensure production drawings adhere to manufacturing feasibility guidelines.

4. Documentation & Handover

- Prepare final production-ready shop drawings (2D/3D cut-lists and hardware specs) for factory manufacturing.
- Track project files, revision histories, and material sign-offs systematically.
- Assist site installation teams by providing clear technical clarification during the assembly phase.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in interior design, preferably in modular kitchens, wardrobes, or retail furniture manufacturing. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or dedicated modular software (e.g., KD Max, Winner, or 2020 Design). Basic rendering skills (V-Ray/Corona) are a plus.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with modular materials (plywood, MDF, laminates, acrylics) and hardware fittings (Blum, Hettich, Hafele, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, solid spatial awareness, active listening, and a collaborative team attitude.

Pay: ₹18,000.37 - ₹22,000.00 per month
