– Junior Engineer – Electrical

Designation: Jr. Engineer – Electrical

Department: Electrical

Reporting To: Sr. Engineer Electrical / Zonal Manager Electrical

Level: Project Level

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Planning & Site Set-up

- Perform electrical load calculations and prepare drawings as per site conditions and mobilization plan.
- Arrange required electrical materials and manpower in coordination with the concerned departments.

2. Electrical Work & Supervision

- Prepare monthly material schedules and guide electricians on proper material usage.
- Ensure proper cable sizing and material selection as per equipment rating and load calculations.
- Carry out electrical testing of Earthing, RCCB, Lux, Main Panel, DG, SDB and Pre-Monsoon Checklist.
- Monitor construction schedules and report deviations to the Engineer/Sr. Engineer – Electrical.

3. Electrical Testing & Maintenance





- Perform electrical testing as per department SOPs.
- Follow Electrical LOTO Permit procedures during maintenance activities.

4. Documentation

- Maintain required documentation as per IMS processes and formats.
- Maintain records and checklists for Earthing, RCCB, Lux, Main Panel, DG, SDB and Pre-Monsoon inspections.

EHS Compliance

- Follow safety procedures during electrical installation and guide electricians on safety practices.
- Report unsafe work and stop work when required.
- Follow LOTO, Work Permit and other maintenance & safety procedures.
- Check earthing of metal-body equipment for human and equipment safety.

Qualification & Experience

- BE in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 0 years / Freshers can apply
- Software Skills: MS Office
