About the Role

You live on Instagram. You can shoot a Reel, cut it, caption it, and have it live before lunch — and it'll look good. As our Junior Social Media Executive, you're the maker at the heart of FAE's organic content: the person who turns a plan into a feed our community actually stops for.

This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone early in their content career who wants reps, ownership, and a front-row seat to how a modern beauty brand is built. You'll shoot, edit, publish, and engage every day — and you'll grow fast by doing, not just planning.

What You'll Do

1. Content Creation & Publishing

- Shoot, edit, and publish Reels, Stories, and static posts in line with the weekly content plan — primarily on Instagram, with the scope to grow into new platforms and formats.
- Create high-quality organic video edits — Reel cuts, trend adaptations, behind-the-scenes, and quick-turnaround pieces — that feel unmistakably FAE.
- Schedule and publish content across channels, owning timely, error-free execution.
- Write first-draft captions and copy that land in the brand's tone of voice.

2. Production & Shoot Support

- Capture behind-the-scenes content across photoshoots, campaigns, and brand events.
- Coordinate with models, creators, and talent on casting, scheduling,



and shoot logistics.
- Assist with styling, product prep, and on-set coordination so shoot days run smoothly.
- Organise products, props, and shoot essentials before, during, and after production.

3. Community & Engagement

- Manage day-to-day community engagement — replying to comments and DMs promptly and in FAE's voice.

4. Tracking & Operations

- Maintain and regularly update content performance trackers and KPI dashboards.
- Run a weekly trend and competitor scan, bringing relevant insights and content recommendations to the team.
- Organise, catalogue, and archive the brand's content library so every asset is easy to find.

5. Ads Support

- Edit and adapt ad creative to briefs from the ads team, turning assets around on time and on-brand.

What You'll Bring

- 1–2 years in content or social — or a strong portfolio of self-published work that speaks for itself.
- The ability to shoot and edit on your phone to a genuinely high standard. This is the core skill.
- Comfort and confidence on camera, and proficiency with editing tools (InShot, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
- A strong grasp of social platforms, algorithms, and trends.
- Speed and reliability — you finish what you start and hit deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic design skills, with proficiency in Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

Bonus Points

- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A real love for beauty, and a pulse on Indian internet culture.
- Early experience with paid/ads creative or performance content.
