Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to support the organization's cybersecurity operations. The candidate will assist in monitoring security events, identifying potential threats, responding to incidents, and maintaining security controls to protect company assets and data.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and security monitoring tools.

- Investigate and analyze potential security incidents and escalate when necessary.

- Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation activities.

- Support endpoint, network, and email security monitoring.

- Review system logs and identify suspicious activities.

- Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures.

- Participate in incident response and documentation activities.

- Conduct basic security awareness and compliance-related tasks.

- Maintain security reports, dashboards, and audit documentation.

- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.





- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).

- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Understanding of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Antivirus, and Vulnerability Scanners.

- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.

- Understanding of phishing, malware, ransomware, and common attack vectors.

- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Network Administration, SOC, or Cybersecurity.

- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, SC-900, AZ-900, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate are advantageous.
