Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

The Junior

Accountant will assist with daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and supplier accounts.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, expense claims, and payments, as well as supporting month-end closing activities and basic financial reporting. The role will involve preparing and organizing documentation for audits,



ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant financial policies.

The Junior

Accountant will collaborate with the finance team and other departments to respond to accounting queries, maintain accurate records, and support continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; ability to manage spreadsheets and financial data accurately.
- Attention to detail, solid numerical aptitude, and the ability to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work responsibly in a fast-paced, service-oriented business.
- Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is an advantage, ideally within travel, tourism, or hospitality.
- Awareness of local financial regulations and tax requirements in the UAE will be considered beneficial.
