We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance and accounts department with day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and financial record keeping. The role involves assisting in maintaining accurate financial records
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions (vouchers, receipts, payments, journals).
- Assist in maintaining ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Support in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports.
- Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts-related records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the senior accountant/management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally/ERP, MS Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance
