- Monitor daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Manage and monitor assembly/production line operations.
- Ensure operators follow defined SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Track Plan vs Actual Production and identify gaps.
- Monitor cycle time, productivity, downtime, rejection and rework.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
- Identify bottlenecks in the production line and support corrective actions.
- Ensure proper manpower allocation and utilization.
- Monitor material availability at the production line and coordinate with stores for shortages.
- Maintain daily production reports and MIS.
- Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in line balancing and process improvement to improve productivity.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure safe working conditions on the shop floor.




- Support new product/process introduction and process trials.
- Investigate recurring production problems and support root-cause analysis.
- Ensure proper handling of finished goods, WIP and rejected/rework units.
- Support refurbishment/rework activities wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operators to ensure smooth shift operations. Requirements
- Valuable understanding of production and assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and line balancing.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and production MIS.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work on the shop floor and manage operators.
- Strong focus on productivity, quality and process discipline.
