This role is responsible for overseeing the saree department's daily operations, including managing inventory, supervising and coaching the sales team, and ensuring high standards of visual merchandising and product presentation.

Department Manager will monitor sales performance, implement strategies to achieve targets, and maintain a strong focus on customer experience, assisting clients with product selection and styling. The role also involves coordinating with store and head office teams for new collections, training staff on product knowledge, and ensuring adherence to company policies and brand guidelines.

- Strong experience in fashion or luxury retail, preferably with sarees or ethnic wear, and proven ability to manage a department or team.

- Skills in sales supervision and performance monitoring, including setting targets, tracking metrics, and driving revenue growth.

- Customer service and client relationship skills,



with the ability to provide personalized styling assistance and handle escalations professionally.

- Inventory management and visual merchandising skills, including stock planning, replenishment, and maintaining appealing displays.

- Team leadership and people management skills, such as coaching, scheduling, and fostering a collaborative work workplace.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

- Understanding of Indian textiles, saree drapes, and contemporary fashion trends; passion for ethnic and fusion wear is highly beneficial.

- Bachelor's degree in retail management, fashion, business, or a related field preferred, along with flexibility to work retail hours, weekends, and peak festive seasons.
