Job Title: Jira Atlassian Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Jira Atlassian Specialist with strong expertise in Jira Administration, REST APIs, Groovy scripting, Xray, and Atlassian integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise Jira environments, developing automation and integrations, and resolving complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

- Administer and configure Jira environments, including projects, workflows, screens, schemes, permissions, custom fields, issue types, and notifications.
- Develop and maintain Jira REST API integrations with enterprise applications and third-party tools.
- Create and maintain Groovy scripts using ScriptRunner for Jira customization, automation, workflow extensions, and administrative activities.
- Configure and support Xray Test Management, including test planning, execution, reporting, and Jira integration.
- Design and implement Jira automation and workflow solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Jira configuration, integration, automation, and performance-related issues.
- Support Jira upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and environment maintenance, while collaborating with Development, QA, DevOps, and Business teams.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Jira/Atlassian products, preferably in an enterprise environment, with strong Jira Administration expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, validators,



conditions, post-functions, listeners, automation, and custom configurations.
- Hands-on expertise in Jira REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong experience with Groovy scripting, ScriptRunner, Xray Test Management, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem, including Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; experience with Jira Cloud/Data Center, migrations, upgrades, or Atlassian certifications is an added advantage.
