The Job

We are looking for 7-12 Years of exp in a Staff/Principal Architect with robust expertise in Java microservices, AWS, event-driven architectures, APIs, and enterprise platform design, preferably from e-commerce, customer engagement, loyalty, promotions, or martech domains, capable of driving architecture strategy across multiple teams while balancing business outcomes and technical excellence.

This is not a pure advisory role and not a people management role. It is a high-impact individual contributor position focused on architectural leadership, decision quality, technical standards,and enablement. You will partner closely with Domain Architects, Engineering Managers,Product leaders, platform teams, and senior stakeholders to turn strategy into pragmatictechnical direction.

Your Profile

Backend engineering and distributed systems: strong experience with Java, Spring Boot,REST APIs, microservices, modular monoliths, service boundaries, scalability, resilience,observability, and production operations.

Cloud-native architecture:



practical experience designing and operating services on AWS,including secure, resilient, and cost-aware architectures.

Integration and event-driven patterns: deep understanding of synchronous andasynchronous integration, API design, event streaming, messaging, domain events, eventualconsistency, idempotency, retries, and failure handling.

Infrastructure as Code and platform practices:experience with Docker, Terraform, CI/CDpipelines, automated testing, deployment strategies, environment management, and platformengineering principles.

Data and customer event architecture:ability to design reliable data flows for customerbehavior, consent, segmentation, pricing, promotions, loyalty, experimentation, and marketingactivation use cases.

Security, privacy, and identity-aware architecture:solid understanding of authentication,authorization, customer identity providers, OAuth/OIDC concepts, secure API design, GDPR-aware data handling, consent, and auditability.
