Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to build scalable and secure APIs for banking applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing RESTful services, integrating systems using messaging platforms, and working with modern databases. The role involves developing portal APIs, managing workflows, and ensuring seamless integrations across banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage RESTful APIs for banking portals and applications
- Implement system integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and REST services
- Develop and optimize workflow-based solutions for banking use cases
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with frontend teams, architects, and stakeholders for seamless delivery
- Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of applications
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Integrate Elasticsearch with backend services and REST APIs to enable fast and scalable search functionality

Skills Required

- Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using Spring Boot




- Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability
- Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, along with a solid understanding of system integration patterns
- Good knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API documentation standards for designing well-defined service contracts
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB for NoSQL data handling and a working knowledge of PostgreSQL for relational data management
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization, along with experience using Git for version control and collaboration
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps practices for automated build and deployment
- Proficiency in using Elasticsearch with REST APIs for high-performance search, filtering, and real-time data querying

Domain & Qualification
- Strong experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
- Good understanding of Retail & Corporate Banking systems, Digital banking platforms, and API ecosystems (Portal APIs, workflows, and system integrations)
- Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science Engineering (CSE); Master’s degree (M.Tech / MCA) is an added advantage
