Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available applications on AWS.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture and ensure reliable inter-service communication.
- Design database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and work with relational/non-relational databases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads using Kubernetes/EKS.
- Implement application security using AWS IAM, authentication, authorization, and secure API practices.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using CloudWatch and centralized logging tools.
- Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and relevant testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and other developers.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Identify opportunities for cloud migration, automation, performance improvement, and cost optimization.




- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to architecture and design decisions.

Must have skills:

- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, especially:

- EC2
- S3

- Lambda

- RDS

- SQS/SNS

- API Gateway

- IAM

- CloudWatch
- Valuable knowledge of AWS architecture, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with SQL databases Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control.
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and production troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in high-volume, scalable, and cloud-based applications.
