Java Developer – FinTechJob Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with mandatory experience in the FinTech or Financial Services domain.

The ideal candidate should have worked on financial products, payment platforms, banking systems, UPI, BBPS, insurance, digital payments, or similar applications involving transactions and financial data.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop Microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and financial service providers.
- Develop secure and reliable transaction, payment, and financial workflows.
- Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries and application performance.
- Use Redis for caching and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to system design and development of scalable backend solutions.
- Ensure application reliability, security, and performance.

Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.




- Positive understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Redis.
- Mandatory: Previous experience in FinTech / Financial Services.
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- FinTech
- Digital Payments
- UPI
- BBPS
- Payment Gateway
- Banking
- Insurance
- Lending
- Wallets
- Financial Products
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience handling high-volume financial transactions.
- Understanding of payment processing and transaction lifecycle.
- Experience with third-party financial/payment API integrations.
- Knowledge of secure API development and financial data handling.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development setting.
