About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge SMS marketing automation platform.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our suite of features. You will leverage AI-driven tools and modern development practices to accelerate innovation, improve system performance, and enhance user experience. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot, who is eager to work in a collaborative environment that values creativity, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of building robust, scalable systems.



Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential, along with solid understanding of SQL and database optimization techniques.

Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS, is highly desirable. Familiarity or interest in AI-based development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable will be considered an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Prior remote working experience is preferred, as it ensures seamless integration into our distributed team environment.

Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend functionalities that power our SMS marketing platform. Your key responsibilities include designing and optimizing databases using SQL to ensure efficient data management and retrieval.

You will deploy and manage applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS to ensure high availability and scalability. Implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub and Jenkins will be crucial for streamlining development and deployment processes. Additionally, you will leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery cycles.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers,



frontend developers, and AI specialists—you will contribute to the delivery of impactful features that enhance our platform’s capabilities. Continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to best practices will be vital in maintaining our high standards of quality and performance.
