Location: Bangalore (In office)

Experience: 8+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Migrate on-premise Java/Spring Boot applications and Kafka workloads to AWS.

- Assess application dependencies and define migration/cutover strategies.

- Containerize and deploy applications on AWS (EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda).

- Migrate Kafka workloads to Amazon MSK and optimize performance.

- Migrate databases to RDS/Aurora and implement CDC using AWS DMS.

- Build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across AWS environments.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of Java development experience.

- 5+ years of Spring Boot (2.x/3.x) experience.





- 5+ years of Apache Kafka experience (producers, consumers, topic design, schema management).

- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.

- Strong knowledge of EKS/ECS, MSK, IAM, VPC, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and KMS.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK).

- Strong understanding of Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3, and Kafka-based microservices.

Nice to Have

- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

- Experience with Hybrid Cloud Migration, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.

- Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
