:Senior AI Engineer Azure AI Foundry Intelligent Document Processing
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and cutting-edge AI Engineer to design develop and deploy enterprisegrade AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI Azure AI Services and advanced Intelligent Document Processing IDP technologies The ideal candidate will lead the development of complex OCR and document understanding solutions capable of extracting classifying validating and processing highly unstructured business documents including invoices engineering drawings RFQs contracts site plans purchase orders handwritten forms and multipage tabular documents
This role requires expertise in Generative AI Machine Learning Computer Vision Large Language Models LLMs RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG and enterprisescale automation platforms
Key Responsibilities
AI GenAI Solution Development
Design and implement enterprise AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry
Develop and deploy LLMpowered applications using Azure OpenAI
Build Agentic AI solutions utilizing autonomous agents and orchestration frameworks
Create RAG architectures integrating enterprise knowledge repositories
Develop AI copilots chatbots and intelligent assistants using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI services
Finetune and optimize foundation models for domainspecific business use cases
OCR Intelligent Document Processing
Architect advanced OCR solutions capable of processing o Structured documents o Semistructured documents o Completely unstructured documents o Handwritten forms o Engineering drawings o Construction plans o Multipage tables o Scanned PDFs o Images with poor quality and noise
Develop custom extraction models using o Azure AI Document Intelligence o Azure Computer Vision o Azure Form Recognizer o Azure Custom Vision o Opensource OCR frameworks
Build document classification entity extraction keyvalue extraction and table recognition pipelines
Implement confidence scoring validation rules and humanintheloop review workflows
Improve OCR accuracy through advanced image preprocessing techniques including o Deskewing o Denoising o Adaptive thresholding o Image enhancement o Layout detection
Azure AI Cloud Engineering
Build scalable AI solutions on Azure cloud
Design AI architectures leveraging o Azure AI Foundry o Azure OpenAI o Azure Machine Learning o Azure AI Search o Azure Document Intelligence o Azure Functions
Implement MLOps and LLMOps practices
Automate deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
Machine Learning Data Science
Develop predictive and generative AI models
Train and evaluate custom computer vision models
Build document classification and information extraction models
Optimize inference performance and model accuracy
Establish AI monitoring governance and observability frameworks
Enterprise Integration
Integrate AI solutions with o Oracle ERP o Salesforce o SAP o ServiceNow o SharePoint o Microsoft Teams o Power Platform o UiPath o REST APIs
Support automation initiatives combining AI and RPA technologies
Governance Security
Ensure all AI solutions comply with enterprise AI governance standards

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Data Science Engineering or related field
Experience
7 years in software development and AI engineering
4 years implementing AIML solutions in Azure
3 years delivering enterprise OCR and document intelligence projects
Experience deploying productiongrade GenAI solutions
