: Mechanical Maintenance Technician & Electrician

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic baling presses (1010 and 88 auto balers), including hydraulic power packs, cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, seals, and filters.
- Carry out mechanical maintenance of EOT cranes (3 MT and 5 MT), including wire ropes, hooks, brakes, gearboxes, wheels, and LT/CT drives, in coordination with the Electrical Maintenance team.
- Maintain and service gas cutting equipment, including cutting torches, regulators, flashback arrestors, hose lines, and gas manifolds, while ensuring safe handling and storage of gas cylinders.
- Execute routine fitting activities such as machine alignment, coupling alignment, bearing replacement, greasing, lubrication, fabrication support, and minor structural repairs.
- Troubleshoot recurring mechanical failures, perform root cause analysis, and maintain machine downtime records to improve equipment reliability.




- Monitor spare parts consumption and maintain inventory of maintenance tools, consumables, and critical spares. Raise timely indents for items such as seal kits, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic oil, and wire ropes with accurate specifications.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and trial runs of current equipment, including balers, EOT cranes, lifting magnets, conveyors, and weighbridges, in collaboration with OEM service engineers.
- Ensure compliance with Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), work permit systems, PPE requirements, and 5S standards during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection checklists, and equipment history in registers/FMS, and submit daily maintenance updates to the Plant In charge.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime and ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
