Position: IT Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and service-oriented IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain hospital IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth functioning of computer systems, networks, and healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to hospital staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
- Support hospital applications such as HIS/HMS, EMR, LIS, PACS, billing, and other clinical systems.
- Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and basic network infrastructure.
- Create and manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations as authorized.
- Monitor IT systems and promptly resolve technical issues affecting patient-care operations.
- Maintain IT asset records, software inventories, and service/maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, networking, and AMC-related issues.
- Ensure regular data backup and follow hospital IT security and confidentiality policies.
- Support CCTV, biometric attendance, IP phones,



and other hospital technology systems as required.
- Follow cybersecurity, data protection, infection-control, and hospital safety protocols.
- Provide technical support during system implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Be available for shift support / emergency IT issues when required.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the Management / IT Head.

Eligibility:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, networking, hardware, and basic cybersecurity.
- Experience with hospital software/HIS will be an advantage.
