Key Responsibilities & Performance Expectations (KPI-Aligned)

1. Application Development & Module Ownership

- Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy robust software solutions and custom application features aligned with SIS business requirements.
- Functioning of Assigned Modules: Maintain 100% operational readiness, high availability, and optimal performance for all assigned software modules.
- Drive bug fixes, performance tuning, system enhancements, and version upgrades for active modules.

2. Quality of Work & Technical Delivery

- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code following company standards and best practices and perform unit testing and integration testing to minimize post-deployment bugs and technical debt.
- Conduct regular performance checks and code reviews to ensure reliability and scalability.

3. User Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues, module troubleshooting, and user queries.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with internal business stakeholders, branch/regional teams, and cross-functional IT groups to understand functional needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor support tickets/queries,



ensuring prompt resolution within agreed SLA timelines.

4. Documentation & Knowledge Management

- Documentation & User Manuals: Create and maintain up-to-date technical design documents, API specifications, workflow diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Develop explicit, user-friendly step-by-step manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quick-reference guides for end users.
- Conduct brief walkthroughs or training sessions for end users when releasing major module updates.

5. Process Adherence & Governance

- Strictly follow internal SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) frameworks, Change Management protocols, and IT Governance standards.
- Comply with organizational data security policies, compliance requirements, and access control guidelines.
- Ensure all code commits, releases, and deployments strictly adhere to change management procedures.

6. Continuous Learning & Skill Improvement

- Actively upgrade technical skills and stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern development tools.

Identify automation opportunities within existing software modules to streamline workflows and boost operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

BE/BTech with 5-9 years of experience
