We are looking for a talented IT InfoSec & Technical Specialist to lead and strengthen our information security and IT operations while ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant with ISO 27001 standards.

In this role, you will own end-to-end information systems security processes, from identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our infrastructure to managing endpoint security, firewalls, antivirus solutions, patch management, intrusion detection, and data protection controls. You will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining organizational security policies, improving the reliability of our IT systems, supporting ISO 27001 compliance and recertification, and advising senior leadership on cybersecurity risks and best practices.

As a member of the IT team, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking, partnering with cross-functional teams to build a strong security-first culture across The Scalers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee enterprise security systems, detect and respond to security incidents, and protect company assets through security strategies and monitoring controls.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), monthly patching, and implement security tools such as JumpCloud MDM, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
- Implement and maintain security policies,



conduct security awareness sessions and phishing campaigns, and ensure ISO 27001 compliance and recertification.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced technical issues across Windows and macOS, including hardware, software, networking, and user account support.
- Set up devices for new joiners, manage IT assets, administer SaaS tools, customise desktop applications, and maintain technical documentation.
- Procure hardware and software, manage vendor relationships, and provide remote and on-site technical support.
- Drive IT and cybersecurity strategy, advise senior leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and mentor team members on security best practices.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- 5+ years of experience in IT Administration, System Security, Desktop Support, or Technical Support.
- Strong expertise in Windows and macOS administration, advanced troubleshooting, networking, and endpoint security.
- Hands-on experience with JumpCloud, Sophos, MDM solutions, VAPT, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Keka, and authentication tools.
- Good understanding of data protection, data security, GDPR, and ISO 27001 security practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and documentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, or similar technologies are an added advantage.
- Experience working in an ISO 27001-certified organisation with knowledge of compliance and audit processes.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams in a quick-paced environment.
