About The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Career Counsellor to join our expanding US IT staffing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about career development, talent sourcing, and client engagement.

As a Career Counsellor, you will serve as a vital link between IT professionals seeking new opportunities and our clients requiring skilled talent. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding candidates' skills and career aspirations, sourcing suitable opportunities, and facilitating the hiring process from initial engagement to placement. This position provides comprehensive training and mentorship, making it suitable for freshers with strong communication skills and a keen interest in recruitment.

Working closely with recruiters, account managers, and candidates, you will gain valuable insight into US staffing processes and industry standards.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of US staffing and recruitment processes, with 0-1 year of experience in US staffing, technical recruitment,



or career counseling preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

A good grasp of candidate sourcing techniques, familiarity with job portals such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder, and basic knowledge of US work authorization and staffing terminology (such as W2, C2C, 1099) will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work US shifts (CST). A positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and the ability to build relationships are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities Connect with IT professionals to understand their skills, experience, career goals, and job preferences. Conduct initial discussions to assess candidate qualifications and expectations, review resumes, and build strong relationships throughout the hiring process.

Source candidates through various platforms like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal databases to identify suitable talent. Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and feedback sessions with candidates and clients, ensuring a seamless communication flow. Support senior counsellors, recruiters, and account managers by understanding client requirements and assisting in candidate placement.





Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in internal systems, ensuring compliance with US staffing standards. Learn and apply US staffing concepts such as work authorization types (W2, C2C, 1099) and work authorization requirements. Achieve daily and weekly targets related to candidate sourcing, engagement, and submissions, contributing to the overall success of the team.
