Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network professional to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure across the Head Office and plant locations. The role will be responsible for network and server management, hardware and desktop support, Wi-Fi/internet connectivity, IT security, vendor management, and day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a manufacturing, plant, industrial, or multi-location setting and be comfortable managing both infrastructure and end-user IT support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network & Internet Infrastructure

- Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across office and plant locations.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPN and network connectivity.
- Ensure reliable Wi-Fi and internet connectivity for employees and plant users.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot network downtime and coordinate with ISPs/service providers for resolution.
- Maintain network documentation, IP schemes and network diagrams.

2. Server & IT Infrastructure Management

- Manage and monitor Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory and related infrastructure.
- Ensure server availability, performance, backup and recovery.
- Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions.
- Support virtualization, storage and other IT infrastructure as required.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.

3. Desktop & Hardware Support

- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers,



scanners and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and operating system issues.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops/laptops and required applications.
- Manage IT assets, inventory, allocation and maintenance records.
- Provide timely IT support to employees and plant users.

4. IT Security

- Manage and monitor firewalls, antivirus/endpoint security, VPN and access controls.
- Implement IT security practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor unauthorized access, security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Support data protection, backup and disaster recovery processes.

5. IT Application / Lifeshell Support

- Provide IT infrastructure support for Lifeshell and coordinate with the respective application/vendor team for issue resolution.
- Monitor system connectivity and ensure smooth integration between infrastructure and business applications.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and escalation for application-related technical issues.

6. Vendor Management & Negotiation

- Coordinate with IT vendors, OEMs, ISPs and service providers for hardware, software, networking and AMC requirements.
- Handle vendor negotiation, quotations,



commercial discussions and service-level agreements.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and support cost-effective procurement decisions.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely resolution of service issues.

7. Plant & Manufacturing IT Support

- Provide IT support to plant operations and ensure minimum disruption to business activities.
- Coordinate IT requirements during new installations, expansions and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure availability of IT infrastructure required for plant operations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for site-level IT requirements.

8. IT Operations & Documentation

- Maintain IT asset, network, server and vendor records.
- Track IT incidents, service requests and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare periodic reports on IT infrastructure, downtime, incidents and vendor performance.
- Develop and maintain IT SOPs, policies and documentation.
