Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications (BCA/B.Sc IT), or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

- Hospital Systems & Software Support: Maintain, troubleshoot, and update core clinical systems (HIS, EHR, LIMS, RIS/PACS) to ensure 24/7 uptime for patient care operations.
- Hardware & Network Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, servers, switches, and local Wi-Fi networks across clinical units and administrative offices.
- Helpdesk & On-Call Troubleshooting: Resolve technical tickets submitted by doctors, nurses, and administrative staff; provide urgent, on-call support for critical hospital departments (ICU, ER, Operation Theaters).




- Data Security & Backup Management: Perform routine data backups, manage access controls, enforce solid authentication protocols, and ensure compliance with healthcare data protection standards (e.g., HIPAA, NABH IT guidelines).
- Medical Equipment Integration: Coordinate with biomedical engineering teams to assist in connecting networked medical devices to the hospital’s core IT infrastructure.
