Career Cracker Academy is looking for a working Investment Banking Operations skilled to teach our 45-day live online course, Investment Banking Operations Batch 1.

Our students are graduates from any stream, freshers and career switchers from BPO, KPO, back-office and accounts roles. You will take them from zero to interview-ready for Trade Support, Settlements, Reconciliation, KYC/Client Onboarding and Corporate Actions analyst roles at captives like Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs and at KPOs like eClerx, Accenture and Capgemini.

WHAT YOU WILL TEACH (the syllabus is built from 90 live job descriptions)

- Financial markets and the investment bank: front, middle and back office; exchanges, clearing houses, custodians, depositories (NSDL, CDSL, DTCC, Euroclear); equities, bonds, derivatives, FX and loans in plain language
- Trade life cycle and trade support: capture, enrichment, confirmation matching (CTM), pre-settlement checks, fails management, front-to-back reconciliation, T+1/T+2
- Settlements, clearing and payments: DVP/FOP, settlement instructions, custody chains, CCPs, RTGS/NEFT/ACH/wires, SWIFT MT103, MT202, MT540-548, nostro/vostro and daily cash projections, CSDR basics
- Reconciliation and exception handling: cash, stock/position, nostro and GL recs, ageing, break commentary, escalation, four-eye checks; SmartStream TLM and Duco demos
- KYC, client onboarding and reference data: institutional account opening, CDD/EDD, LEI, SSIs, security master, ISDA/CSA at recognition level, periodic review
- Asset servicing: corporate actions (record/ex dates, entitlements, elections, claims), dividends and coupons, custody, fund accounting and loan operations basics
- Regulation, risk and controls: SEBI, SEC/FINRA/Dodd-Frank, EMIR/MiFID II, regulatory reporting, operational risk, SLA/KPI thinking
- Excel and MIS for operations: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivots, data validation, macros,



daily MIS pack; counterparty and escalation emails; US/UK shift phone etiquette

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

- Live online classes Mon-Fri 8:30-9:30 PM IST plus a Saturday practice lab, for the full 45-day batch (about 68 hours)
- Practical training: run the 9 hands-on labs in Excel and mock bank systems (trade blotter matching, SWIFT routing, three-way reconciliation with planted breaks, mock hedge fund onboarding, corporate action processing, MIS pack) and grade the 60-minute final practical
- Interview preparation: Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, eClerx and Accenture operations interview questions and aptitude/financial-markets test practice
- Individual mock interviews for every student (3 graded rounds each) with written feedback
- Share class notes and assignments; track each student's progress and flag anyone falling behind

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 4+ years hands-on in Investment Banking Operations at a captive or KPO (Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, State Street, BNP Paribas, eClerx, Accenture, Capgemini, TCS BFSI or similar)
- Worked in at least two of: trade support, settlements/clearing, reconciliation, corporate actions, KYC/client onboarding
- Comfortable reading SWIFT messages and working in Excel at an advanced level
- Can explain trade flows and breaks to a non-finance graduate in simple English; Hinglish is fine
- Training, mentoring or team-lead experience preferred; experience interviewing analysts is a plus
- Currently working in the domain, so students hear what interviewers ask today

COMPENSATION

Rs 30,000 per 45-day batch, paid flat. This covers live classes, labs, interview preparation sessions and individual mock interviews. Repeat batches for trainers who deliver placements.
