Role Description The International Patient Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, responsible for supporting patients through their medical journey from inquiry to post-treatment follow-up. This role involves coordinating communication between international patients, hospitals, and medical specialists; explaining treatment options, procedures, timelines, and estimated costs in a clear and empathetic manner. The coordinator manages documentation, appointment scheduling, and treatment plans, while assisting with travel arrangements, accommodation, and other logistical needs related to medical visits.
Daily tasks include responding to patient queries, maintaining accurate records,
tracking case progress, and ensuring a smooth, patient-centered experience. The role requires close collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure that each patient’s care pathway is well-organized and aligned with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Solid patient coordination and customer service skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and empathetic support to international patients.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare facilitation, hospital administration, medical tourism, or a related patient-facing role.
- Ability to manage logistics, including appointment scheduling, documentation handling, and coordination of travel and accommodation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Comfort using digital tools and platforms for record-keeping, messaging, and video consultations.
- Knowledge of major medical specialties such as fertility, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, cosmetic procedures, or dentistry is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, social work, hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
