Role Description The Interior Stylist will be responsible for styling residential interiors in alignment with Bonito Designs’ design language and client requirements in a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting and coordinating furniture, furnishings, artwork, lighting, and accessories to create cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. The role involves collaborating closely with interior designers, project managers, and vendors to ensure timely execution of styling plans and adherence to project budgets.

The Interior

Stylist will conduct site visits, prepare mood boards and styling concepts,



and oversee installation and final set-up before client handover. The role also includes staying updated on design trends, materials, and products, while maintaining high standards of quality, client communication, and service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interior styling and spatial design skills, including experience with furniture, decor, color palettes, and layout planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in concept development and visual presentation, such as mood board creation, material selection, and basic drafting or design software use (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop).
- Candidates should possess project coordination and organizational skills, including vendor coordination, time management, and the ability to manage multiple styling projects simultaneously.
- Candidates should possess excellent client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to understand client needs, present ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess a strong sense of aesthetics, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset, with an ability to adapt designs to practical constraints such as budgets and timelines.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Interior Styling, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in residential interior projects.
- Working knowledge of local markets for furniture, decor, and materials in Mumbai and understanding of current interior design trends will be beneficial.
