Role Description The Interior Fitout Engineer will oversee on-site execution of interior projects, ensuring that designs are implemented with technical accuracy, quality workmanship, and adherence to project timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with architects, designers, and clients; supervising contractors and trades for civil, MEP, partitions, and finishes; and verifying that all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical documents, material take-offs, and execution plans, as well as monitoring site progress, resolving technical issues,



and optimizing construction sequences.

The Interior Fitout

Engineer will conduct regular site inspections, maintain documentation, and support project managers in reporting and communication. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of interior fit-out execution, including civil works, MEP (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), partitions, and finishing details.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings, and translate them into practical on-site execution plans.
- Experience in site supervision, contractor coordination, and monitoring daily progress to maintain quality and timelines.
- Knowledge of construction materials, interior systems, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, basic quantity estimation, and documentation for reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in relevant technical tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software) and basic MS Office for plans, reports, and communication.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills for working with architects, designers, vendors, and clients.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and ability to promote a safe, compliant site environment.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in commercial or retail fit-outs is an advantage.
