Key Responsibilities

- Study source housing maps, satellite imagery, and reference drawings to accurately recreate building footprints and floor plans.

- Produce precise, to-scale architectural drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit, following defined data standards and drawing conventions for the training dataset.

- Ensure consistent labelling, layer conventions, and annotation practices across all drawings to maintain high-quality training data.

- Accurately capture key structural details, including walls, room boundaries, doors, windows, and overall building proportions, as required by the data specification.

- Cross-verify each drawing against source references such as site plans, satellite imagery, and survey data before marking it complete.

- Maintain organized version control and documentation of all generated drawings for effective dataset tracking.

- Collaborate with the data team to understand data requirements, formatting guidelines, and updates to the data specification throughout model development.

- Meet defined turnaround times and volume and accuracy targets for the dataset being generated.

- Flag ambiguous, unclear,



or low-quality source maps that require clarification or additional reference data.

Job Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or equivalent).

- Working proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a strong plus.

- Robust understanding of architectural drawing conventions, including floor plans, building footprints, wall/room dimensions, and scale.

- High attention to detail and consistency.

- Ability to work methodically through a high volume of drawings while maintaining accuracy.

- Good communication skills to clearly flag data issues or ambiguities to the data team.

- Prior internship or academic project experience involving GIS tools, satellite imagery, or housing/urban planning data.

- Interest in the application of architecture, real estate, or urban planning.

- Basic familiarity with GIS platforms (QGIS/ArcGIS) is an added advantage, though the core tools for this role are AutoCAD and Revit.
