Interior Design Faculty / Interior Design Trainer

Location: Kozhikode, Kerala

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and expertise)

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Interior Design Faculty / Interior Design Trainer to join our academic team. The candidate should have strong theoretical and practical knowledge of interior design, relevant design software, and the ability to deliver effective classroom and practical training.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and practical classes on Interior Design and related subjects.
- Explain interior design concepts clearly using practical and real-world examples.
- Provide hands-on training in relevant interior design software.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Guide students through practical design exercises, projects, and portfolios.
- Monitor student performance and provide appropriate feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and student engagement.
- Support academic activities, curriculum development, and student mentoring.
- Keep students updated with current industry practices, materials, and design trends.

Required Technical & Software Knowledge The candidate should have good working knowledge of relevant Interior Design concepts, tools, and software, including:

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- V-Ray / Lumion




- Revit / BIM
- Photoshop
- Space Planning & Interior Design Principles
- Furniture & Material Selection
- Lighting Design
- Colour Theory
- 2D & 3D Interior Design
- Other relevant interior design software and industry practices.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Interior Design, Teaching, Training, or Professional Practice.
- Robust theoretical and practical knowledge of Interior Design.
- Hands-on experience with relevant interior design software.
- Ability to explain design concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively handle students and maintain classroom engagement.
- Ability to guide students through practical projects and portfolio development.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
