About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer specializing in SAP EDI and B2B integrations to join Lonza's dynamic digital and enterprise technology team in Hyderabad, India. This role is pivotal in designing, supporting, and enhancing integration solutions that facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between our internal systems and external partners, including suppliers, customers, and vendors. As an integral part of our team, you will work on implementing scalable and reliable SAP EDI and B2B solutions that underpin our global operations.

The position offers an office-first working environment with the flexibility to work remotely up to 20% of the time, fostering close collaboration and effective communication within the team. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP EDI and B2B integration within a global enterprise setting. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and IDoc, along with experience working with SAP integration technologies and middleware platforms.

Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential for resolving complex data exchange issues efficiently. Effective stakeholder management and excellent communication abilities are crucial for collaborating across diverse teams and external partners. A proactive and collaborative mindset, coupled with a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer-focused delivery, will ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities The Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving SAP EDI and B2B integration solutions. Your key duties include collaborating with business stakeholders, application teams, external vendors, and partners to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions. You will monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure timely issue resolution and minimal business disruption.

Supporting integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using established middleware and communication standards is a core aspect of the role. Additionally, you will participate in system upgrades, testing,



and deployment activities to maintain a stable, compliant, and efficient integration environment. Contributing to the development of integration architecture, technical documentation, and best practices will be essential.
