About the job

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Control Engineer to join our team. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Instrumentation & Control System Engineering fundamentals and experience in basic and detail engineering of Instrumentation and Control Systems.

Experience : Minimum 8 to 12 years

Industry : Water, Power, Oil & Gas or related Industry

Primary Work Location : Bangalore/ Chennai, INDIA

Educational Qualification : Engineering Degree – Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering

of Instrumentation Control Engineer

- In depth knowledge in Instrumentation &

• Control System Engineering fundamentals.

- Preparing Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, IO list, Hook-up, Cable Schedule, Loop Diagram etc.
- Preparing Automated Valve List, Automated Valve Datasheets, Solenoid Valves datasheets, Pressure Regulating Valve Datasheet etc.
- Preparation of PLC/DCS system specification, Architecture etc.
- Ability to read and implement Tender/ Client specifications.
- Knowledge in International standards (ATEX, NEMA, IEC 61508/61511 etc.).
- Knowledge in Process documents like P&ID;, PFD, Mass Balance, Process Description etc.
- Knowledge in Piping documents like PMS, Line List, Valve List, Nozzle Schedule etc.
- Guide 3D Modellers on instrument installation on 3D model development.
- Review and approval of Basic and Details engineering documents.
- Review technical offers and preparation of TBE for Instrumentation and Control system (PLC/ DCS, RIO, Field Instruments, Automated Valves (ON-OFF Valves, Control Valves, SOV, PRV etc.) in line with codes & client specifications.
- Review and Approval of Post order vendor documentation for Instrumentation and Control System (PLC/ DCS, RIO, Field Instruments, Automated Valves (ON-OFF Valves, Control Valves, SOV, PRV etc.).
- Exposure to conducting inspection and report for PLC/DCS Panels.
- Budgeting hours and controlling on time and high-quality submission of Instrumentation and Control scope of work.




- Handled complex projects with complete basic and detail engineering of Instrumentation and Control System scope.

Valuable To Have Requirements

- Review and Sign off FAT/SAT procedures for PLC/DCS.
- Preparing and Reviewing HAZOP &

• SIL study and calculation procedures.

- Instrumentation and Control System respective vendor contacts and selection of correct Instrumentation and Control System items.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Minimum 8 to 12 years’ Experience in Water, Power, Oil &

• Gas or related Industry.

- Engineering Degree – Electronics / Instrumentation &

• Control Engineering.

- The Individual has a proven track record of successfully managing medium and high-risk projects/tasks. They possess the technical expertise necessary to provide guidance to supporting engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- In the realm of design alternatives, the individual possesses a remarkable ability to assess the merits and drawbacks of each option, ultimately arriving at the most optimised solution. Their expertise in this area is indispensable, guaranteeing that all design decisions

are methodically scrutinised prior to any final selection.
- The Individual demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of various functions and processes and possesses the ability to effectively ensure adherence to all project and contract requirements.
