Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Moulding Supervisor to manage day-to-day injection moulding operations, manpower, production targets and quality standards. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mould setting, machine parameter setting and troubleshooting of moulding defects.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily Injection Moulding production and achieve production targets.
- Set and monitor machine parameters including temperature, pressure, injection speed, cycle time and cooling time.
- Handle mould loading/unloading, mould changeover and machine start-up.
- Monitor and control moulding defects such as flash, short moulding, sink marks, burn marks, warpage and colour variation.
- Ensure correct raw material, colour/masterbatch and mould are used as per production plan.
- Allocate manpower and supervise operators/helpers on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Production Planning teams.
- Maintain production, rejection, rework,



downtime and machine-wise records/MIS.
- Monitor OEE, productivity, rejection and material wastage.
- Troubleshoot machine/mould issues and coordinate with maintenance/mould maintenance teams.
- Ensure 5S, safety, PPE and housekeeping standards are followed.
- Train operators on machine operation, quality requirements and safety procedures.

Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years’ experience in Injection Moulding / Plastic Component Manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of mould setting, machine operation and process parameters.
- Good understanding of plastic materials, moulds and common moulding defects.
- Good manpower handling and shop-floor supervisory skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Production MIS.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and quality practices.
- Experience in Electrical / Modular Switch / Socket / Plastic Component manufacturing will be preferred.
