Job Title: Infoblox Administrator / Engineer (L2)

Job Location: Pune

Experience Required: 6- 8YEARS

:

Must Have:

Administer and support Infoblox DDI infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot DNS zones, records, DHCP scopes, and IP address allocations.

Monitor Infoblox appliances and ensure high availability and operational stability.

Perform DNS/DHCP migrations, upgrades, patching, and backup/restoration activities.

Troubleshoot DNS resolution, DHCP lease, and IP address management issues.

Support change, incident, problem, and service request management activities.

Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

Work with Network, Security,



Cloud, and Application teams for infrastructure integrations.

Ensure compliance with security standards and change management procedures.

Participate in on-call support and major incident handling when required.

Required Skills

Solid hands-on experience with Infoblox DDI Administration.

Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM concepts.

Experience with Infoblox Grid architecture, Grid Master, and Member Management.

Knowledge of DNS forwarding, conditional forwarding, zone delegation, and DNS security.

Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and subnetting.

Experience in troubleshooting enterprise network and DNS-related issues.

Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.

Good knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure DNS, AWS Route 53, Hybrid Cloud DNS integrations.

Exposure to automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.

Knowledge of DNS Security, DNS Firewall, and DNS Threat Protection solutions.

Experience in VMware, Windows Server, or Linux environments.

ITIL Foundation Certification.
