We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Infection Control Nurse responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention practices across the hospital. This role is critical in reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and ensuring compliance with clinical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control (IPC) policies and protocols
- Conduct regular infection surveillance and report trends (HAIs, SSI, CLABSI, etc.)
- Monitor adherence to hand hygiene and aseptic techniques
- Perform audits of clinical areas and recommend corrective actions
- Train healthcare staff on infection control practices
- Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend containment strategies
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards
- Coordinate with microbiology lab for culture reports and antibiotic stewardship
- Maintain infection control records, reports, and documentation
Requirements
- BSc Nursing / GNM with valid Kerala Nursing Council registration
- Certification in Infection Control (preferred )
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (ICU experience strongly preferred)
- Prior experience in infection control or quality department is a big advantage
- Solid knowledge of sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste management
- Good communication and training skills

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
