ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Meclusions Studio is developing a new digital streaming and content platform dedicated to discovering and presenting the stories, knowledge traditions, culture, heritage and lesser-explored narratives of Bharat through high-quality original digital content.

We are looking for a curious, research-oriented and strong-thinking Indic Research & Script Associate who can help transform Indic subjects into engaging, responsible and audience-friendly content.

This is a multidisciplinary role combining:

Indic Research + Story Development + Script Assistance + Fact-Checking + Content Development

WHAT YOU MAY RESEARCH

Depending on the project, your research may cover:

- Indian history and civilisation

- Sanatana traditions and practices
- Hindu philosophy and schools of thought
- Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasa and related literature

- Ramayana and Mahabharata traditions
- Indian temples, pilgrimage and sacred geography
- Indian festivals, customs and traditions
- Sanskrit literature and Indian knowledge systems
- Ancient Indian sciences, arts and literature
- Historical personalities and cultural figures
- Regional traditions and oral histories
- Lesser-known stories from different parts of Bharat

You do not need to be an expert in every subject. What matters is your ability to research deeply, identify credible sources and learn quickly.

SCRIPT & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

Your research should ultimately help create content.

You may assist with

- Documentary scripts
- Narration / voice-over drafts

- Episode outlines

- Story treatments
- Animated-story concepts

- Interview research and questions

- Historical / cultural explainers
- Short-form digital content
- Research notes for writers and directors

You will work with senior creative professionals to convert research into watchable stories rather than academic essays.



FACT-CHECKING IS CRITICAL

Indic subjects can contain multiple traditions, interpretations and sources.

You will be expected to:

- Verify names, dates, locations and quotations
- Cross-check important claims
- Identify primary and credible secondary sources where possible
- Clearly distinguish historical evidence from traditional accounts, legends and interpretations

- Maintain research references
- Flag disputed or uncertain information instead of presenting it as established fact

We want curiosity without sacrificing accuracy. WHO CAN APPLY?

We welcome

- Freshers
- 1–3 years experienced researchers / content writers
- Students or graduates of Sanskrit, History, Indology, Philosophy, Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication or related fields
- Scriptwriting / Film-school graduates with strong Indic knowledge
- Self-taught researchers
- Candidates who have independently studied Indian texts, history and traditions

Formal qualifications are practical, but depth of understanding, research ability and writing quality matter greatly.

SKILLS WE VALUE

You should have

- Strong reading and research ability
- Good Hindi and English communication
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Ability to compare information from different sources

- Excellent attention to detail
- Curiosity about Indic civilisation and Bharat
- Ability to explain complex subjects in simple language
- Ability to structure research into a compelling narrative

Knowledge of Sanskrit or an Indian regional language is a strong advantage.

THE IDEAL PERSON

“Is this historically established, traditionally believed,



or a later interpretation?”

This is a production-oriented position and is not intended as a permanent remote role.
