Onboarding and support for pharmacies moving to Pia.

ABOUT PIA

Pia is pharmacy software for Android and iOS phones, in Hinglish or English. It handles billing, stock and expiry, purchases, reorders and daily accounts.

HOW THE TEAM WORKS

Our telecaller books visits with pharmacy owners. The field sales representative visits and gives a demo. If the owner is interested, the field sales representative returns with the Implementation engineer to sign the shop up. The Implementation engineer then sets the shop up, trains the staff and supports the shop after it goes live.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Join the field sales representative on second visits to interested shops. Answer the owner's questions about moving their data, staff setup and the first day, and book the setup days. You do not sell or discuss prices.
- Export the shop's stock, batch and price data from its current software, and check it with the owner product by product before it goes live: GST rate, HSN code, pack size, and whether it sells by the strip, tablet or box.
- Count shelf stock against the export for fast-moving medicines and scheduled drugs.
- Enter opening balances: cash in hand, supplier dues and customer credit.
- Set up user roles, staff phones, the Bluetooth thermal printer, GST details and suppliers.




- Train the owner and counter staff in Hindi, on their own phones, through the first bill, purchase, return and day close.
- Stay at the shop until live bills print correctly.
- Be the first contact for support at your shops: phones, printers, internet and data corrections.
- Send problems you cannot fix to the engineering team with the device, app version, screen, steps and what went wrong.
- Note how long each setup step takes, so the team can shorten the slow ones.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Fluent Hindi. English good enough to write a transparent problem report.
- Good with spreadsheets and careful with detail: able to read a stock export and find the rows that are wrong.
- Hands-on with Android and iOS phones, Bluetooth printers and weak mobile networks.
- Patient when teaching counter staff who are serving customers at the same time.
- Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
- Trustworthy with a shop's confidential business data.

GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience setting up or supporting billing, POS, accounting or ERP software.
- Pharmacy experience, such as a D.Pharm or B.Pharm, or work at a pharmacy counter.
- An engineering or computer science degree.
