Assistant Manager - Finance Transformation

Role Summary

Finance Transformation team drives the modernisation of financial processes across the organisation replacing manual, fragmented workflows with scalable, technology-enabled solutions. As an Assistant Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives, working at the intersection of finance, operations, product, and engineering. You will translate business requirements into structured project plans, coordinate across functions, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time with robust governance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

- Manage end-to-end delivery of finance transformation projects from scoping and requirements gathering through UAT, go-live, and hyper care.
- Define project scope, milestones, and success metrics; proactively track progress and surface risks.
- Conduct process-mapping exercises to identify inefficiencies in current workflows and design improved, automated future-state solutions.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Business teams and Engineering/Product teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Coordinate across functions including Operations, Legal, InfoSec, and external technology partners to ensure alignment and unblock dependencies.
- Prepare clear,



structured communication for senior stakeholdersproject status updates, executive summaries, and decision documents.

Vendor & Partner Engagement

- Support drafting and review of Statements of Work (SOWs) and service agreements with external technology vendors.
- Track vendor deliverables against agreed timelines, escalate blockers, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Participate in vendor evaluation and commercial discussions as required.

Governance, Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure all transformation initiatives are designed and implemented in line with internal controls, SOX requirements, and data protection standards.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into project and process health.
- Document processes, integration specifications, and change logs to support audit readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 25 years in finance transformation, FP&A;, operations, consulting, or a related function; experience in a high-growth e-commerce or technology environment is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large datasets, identify process bottlenecks, and conduct financial impact assessments.
- Project Management: Structured approach to managing multiple initiatives simultaneously; familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
