IFS FSM Consultant – External Integration

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IFS FSM Consultant with strong expertise in External Integrations and Support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with oil & gas integrations (IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, Nayara) and a solid understanding of FSM support processes, including request handling and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support IFS FSM External Integrations with IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, and Nayara.

- Handle integration-related incidents, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

- Manage and resolve Request Creation issues within IFS FSM.

- Diagnose and fix OTP-related issues impacting field operations or user workflows.

- Provide L2/L3 support for FSM applications ensuring system stability and performance.

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions.

- Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.

Required Skills & ExpertiseCore Skills

- Strong experience in IFS FSM implementation and support.





- Hands-on experience in external system integrations, particularly with oil & gas sector clients.

- Expertise in handling Request Creation processes, OTP troubleshooting, and integration issues.

Functional Knowledge

- Configuration (Business rules, workflows, forms)

- Dashboard & Reporting

- Inventory Management

- Service Requests / Work Orders

Technical Skills

- Understanding of API-based integrations (REST/SOAP)

- Knowledge of middleware/integration frameworks

- Ability to analyze logs and integration errors

- Familiarity with databases (SQL preferred)

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Positive communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proactive approach to issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Oil & Gas domain integrations

- Prior experience in production support environments

- Certification in IFS FSM (if available)
