Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IBM Maximo Technical Consultant with strong technical and techno-functional expertise to support application development and support projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, integration, customization, workflow development, reporting, Java development, and automation scripting.

The candidate should be comfortable working directly with clients and independently gathering requirements, designing solutions, and delivering technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and support IBM Maximo applications and solutions.
- Participate in and contribute to complete Maximo implementations as a Technical or Techno-Functional Consultant.
- Work with Maximo modules and demonstrate basic functional understanding of Maximo Finance and Procurement.
- Develop and maintain Maximo integrations, including integrations with ERP systems.
- Design and develop BIRT reports and reporting solutions.
- Design, configure, and develop Maximo workflows based on business requirements.
- Perform Java development and customization within the Maximo workplace.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to support business and technical requirements.
- Work with RDBMS and SQL scripting for data management, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Configure and manage Maximo Security Groups.
- Gather requirements, analyze business needs, and independently design appropriate technical solutions.




- Work directly with clients and participate in client-facing discussions.
- Provide technical support for application development and production/support projects.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of Maximo solutions.
- Support team management activities and contribute to project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 7–11 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years of IBM Maximo experience.
- At least one complete IBM Maximo implementation as a Technical or Techno-Functional Consultant.

- IBM Maximo
- Java
- Maximo Integration
- BIRT Reporting
- Workflow Design & Development
- Automation Scripting
- ERP Integration
- RDBMS
- SQL Scripting
- Security Group Configuration
- Basic functional knowledge of Maximo modules.
- Knowledge of Maximo Finance and Procurement.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to independently gather requirements and provide technical solutions with minimal support from the functional team.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in the Utilities sector.
- Experience in requirement gathering and solution design.
- Experience working independently with minimal functional-team support.
- Team management experience.

Additional Requirement
- Willingness to work on application development and support projects in accordance with the UAE business calendar and holidays.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be an experienced IBM Maximo qualified with strong technical implementation and integration expertise, hands-on Java development experience, and the ability to interact directly with clients and independently deliver technical solutions.
