Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven, hands-on, and solution-oriented HR Generalist to strengthen our People function and partner closely with employees, managers, and business leaders across the organisation.
The role will have ownership across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, while contributing to employee relations, performance management, HR operations, engagement, learning and development, policy implementation, HR governance, and people analytics.

Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Own and manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding through confirmation, internal movements, transfers, performance cycles, and separation.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of employee documentation, HRMS transactions, employee records, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Act as a trusted People/HR point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, attendance, leave, benefits, HR processes, and workplace-related matters.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring HR processes are standardised, well-documented, compliant, and consistently executed.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency.
- Employee Relations & People Partnering
- Partner with managers and Department Heads as a people advisor on employee relations, workplace concerns, performance matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Understand business and team dynamics and provide practical, balanced, and solution-oriented HR interventions.
- Handle sensitive employee matters with maturity, empathy, discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgement.
- Support managers in navigating people challenges while ensuring alignment with organisational policies and values.
- Build strong relationships across functions and establish HR as a credible and trusted business partner.
- Performance Management & Talent Practices
- Coordinate and drive performance management processes including KRA/KPI setting, goal alignment, periodic reviews, appraisals, performance documentation, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Partner with managers to ensure performance processes are structured, objective, timely, and aligned with business priorities.
- Support managers in setting meaningful goals, providing constructive feedback, and addressing performance gaps.
- Analyse performance trends and highlight opportunities for improving employee productivity, development, and retention.
- Employee Engagement, Culture & Experience
- Plan and execute employee engagement, recognition, culture-building, and employee experience initiatives.
- Develop initiatives that strengthen employee connect, collaboration, morale, and organisational belonging.
- Support internal communication initiatives and ensure HR policies, organisational updates, and people initiatives are communicated clearly and effectively.
- Gather and analyse employee feedback and translate insights into actionable engagement and retention initiatives.
- Contribute to building a high-performance culture anchored around ownership, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Payroll, HRMS & People Analytics
- Coordinate with Finance/Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs, employee changes, deductions, incentives, and other payroll-related information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HRMS/HRIS platforms.
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS, dashboards, workforce reports, people metrics, and management presentations.
- Track and analyse people data to identify trends related to attrition, headcount, hiring, attendance, leave, performance, engagement, and workforce movement.
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, governance, and documentation.
- Learning & Development
- Partner with managers to identify training and capability development needs across teams.
- Coordinate learning initiatives, training calendars, participation tracking, feedback collection, and effectiveness measurement.
- Support initiatives focused on employee capability building, leadership development, functional learning, and continuous upskilling.
- Contribute to creating a culture of continuous learning aligned with evolving business and technology requirements.
- HR Policies, Compliance & Governance
- Support the implementation, communication, and periodic review of HR policies, processes, guidelines, and SOPs.
- Ensure HR practices are consistently aligned with applicable statutory and organisational requirements.
- Support internal audits, compliance activities, documentation, and HR governance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation and ensure process adherence across the employee lifecycle.
- Proactively identify policy/process gaps, compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Process Excellence & HR Projects
- Take ownership of assigned HR transformation and process improvement initiatives.
- Leverage HRMS, automation, reporting, and technology to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving people processes, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee experience, and HR technology.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations, HRBP, or People Operations roles.
- Prior experience in IT, SaaS, Cloud, Technology, Product, or high-growth organisations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, employee relations, performance management,
HR operations, engagement, HR policies, and people processes.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Solid stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, Department Heads, and senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership, and professional maturity.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms such as Keka, Zoho People, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, HR dashboards, MIS, and people analytics.
- Exposure to performance management frameworks, PIPs, employee engagement, HR policy development, and HR process automation.
- Experience working in a technology or scaling organisation with evolving processes and workforce requirements.
- Ability to leverage HR technology and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, reporting, employee experience, and HR decision-making.
