We are small enough to know your name and large enough to scale with you. We are opening our Hyderabad office in 2027, and this role will help build our team there.

About the Role

- The HR Manager owns the organization's employment compliance across the United States, Peru and India and makes day-to-day employment decisions for the company. HR Manager will report to the COO and lead as well as assist the HR Specialist. In this role you will set standards, make decisions and keep the department audit-ready across three countries.

The successful candidate will work across Finance, HR, Sales, Service Delivery, Technical Support, and leadership to ensure operational tasks are documented, assigned, completed, and reported accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Own employment compliance in every country where we engage people, and maintain the calendar that ensures no statutory or contractual deadline is missed.
- Recommend HR policies for approval, then apply them consistently across entities and employee groups.
- Lead talent acquisition, including hiring decisions, offers and background check adjudication, with every candidate managed in Zoho Recruit.
- In addition to strategic oversight, HR manager will also participate in the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
- Own employee relations: investigate concerns, document material matters, and escalate sensitive or legal issues the same day.
- Run the performance review cycle so it opens and closes on time, ratings are applied consistently,



and completion reaches 100%.
- Keep employee records complete, accurate and audit-ready, with controlled access.
- Manage relationships with employment counsel, background verification providers and payroll providers.
- Coach and develop the HR Specialist.What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of HR generalist or HR operations experience, with at least 2 years in a manager or HR business partner role making employment decisions.
- Currently based in Hyderabad.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian employment law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, Shops and Establishments, POSH). Exposure to US or Latin American employment requirements is a strong plus.
- Full employee-lifecycle experience, from recruitment and onboarding through performance, employee relations and offboarding.
- HRIS administration experience and strong records discipline.
- Experience writing and maintaining HR policies and SOPs.
- Sound judgement on sensitive matters and the ability to handle confidential information.
- A self-starter who works independently, plans their own week and follows through without close supervision.
- Strong critical thinking: you question whether a process actually works, spot gaps before they become problems, and bring solutions, not just issues.
- Zoho One experience is strongly preferred (Zoho People, Zoho Recruit). Candidates without Zoho experience who show strong judgement and learn systems quickly will also be considered.
- Able to work US Eastern business hours consistently. This is a night-shift role in India.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice To Have

- Experience supporting SOC 2 or other audit programs from the HR side.
- Experience with employer-of-record (EOR) arrangements or multi-entity organizations.
- Experience setting up HR operations for a new office or entity in India.
- Spanish language skills.
