Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations, payroll, attendance, leave, recruitment, statutory compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of Indian labour laws, PF & ESIC, problem-solving skills, and the ability to use AI tools to improve HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management
* Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary, deductions, incentives, and overtime.
- Verify attendance, leave, late fines, and LOP before salary processing.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for timely salary disbursement.
- Handle employee salary queries and Full & Final (F&F;) settlements.
1. Attendance & Leave Management
* Monitor daily attendance, late coming, and absenteeism.
- Manage leave applications, approvals, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with company attendance and leave policies.
- Maintain accurate attendance and leave MIS reports.
1. Statutory Compliance – PF & ESIC
* Manage monthly PF and ESIC-related compliance and documentation.
- Coordinate employee registrations, UAN, ECR, challans, and applicable statutory records.
- Coordinate with PF/ESIC consultants and government authorities when required.
- Maintain compliance records and ensure timely completion of applicable filings.
1. Labour Law & HR Compliance
* Maintain practical knowledge of Indian labour laws and applicable employment regulations.
- Implement HR policies as per company requirements and applicable laws.
- Maintain employee records, statutory registers, and compliance documentation.
- Support labour inspections, audits, and compliance-related queries.
1. Recruitment & Hiring
* Handle end-to-end recruitment for various departments.
- Prepare job descriptions, source candidates, screen resumes, and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate with HODs for manpower requirements and selection.
- Manage offer letters, joining formalities, onboarding, and induction.
1. Employee Relations & Problem Solving
* Handle employee grievances and workplace-related concerns professionally.
- Resolve HR issues through effective communication and practical solutions.
- Manage disciplinary actions, warning letters, and policy violations as per company policy.
- Coordinate with management and HODs to resolve employee-related problems.
1. AI Tools & HR Technology
* Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other relevant HR software to improve HR productivity.
- Utilize AI for drafting HR communications, job descriptions, HR policies, and reports.
- Explore AI-based solutions for recruitment, HR MIS, and process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company data while using AI tools.
1. HR Operations & Reporting
* Maintain employee files, HRMS records, and HR documentation.
- Prepare monthly HR MIS covering headcount, attendance, leave, payroll, recruitment, and attrition.
- Manage employee joining, confirmation, transfer, and exit formalities.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in HR Operations or HR Management.
- Strong practical knowledge of payroll, attendance, leave, PF, ESIC, and labour law compliance.
- Good recruitment and employee relations experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, HRMS, and AI tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple HR activities independently.
Preferred Industry Experience: Manufacturing similar industries.
