About the role
This is a dual-mandate position across two businesses. You will spend roughly 50/50 of your time on each.
Mandate 1, VortexWeb: own end-to-end recruitment of sales personnel for the UAE market. Source, screen, interview and close sales hires who can sell software and consulting services to businesses in Dubai and the wider GCC.
Mandate 2, FirstGig: drive platform growth through direct outreach. Call and onboard HR and talent-acquisition contacts on the employer side, and call, screen and activate candidates on the supply side.
Both mandates are measured on output, not activity. Hires closed on one side, verified employers and active candidates on the other.
Key responsibilities
VortexWeb: UAE sales recruitment
Sourcing
- Build and maintain a live candidate pipeline for UAE sales roles across LinkedIn, Bayt, NaukriGulf, Indeed UAE, GulfTalent and direct referral networks.
- Headhunt passive candidates from competitor and adjacent-sector sales teams.
- Maintain a bench of pre-screened sales candidates so an open role does not start from zero.
Screening and assessment
- Run first-round telephone and video screening against a written scorecard: sales track record, market knowledge, deal sizes carried, language capability, visa and notice status.
- Verify claims. Reported revenue numbers, quota attainment and client names are checked, not accepted.
- Shortlist with a written recommendation per candidate. No unranked candidate dumps.
Process and closing
- Coordinate interview scheduling across Dubai and Noida time zones.
- Manage offer discussions, notice negotiation and joining-date confirmation.
- Own the candidate through to day one.
A signed offer that does not join is a failed hire and counts against your number.
Compliance and documentation
- Maintain job descriptions, offer letters, interview records and candidate documentation to a standard that survives audit.
- Track UAE labour and visa requirements relevant to each hire and flag issues before an offer is made, not after.
- Keep candidate data handling compliant with applicable data protection requirements in both jurisdictions.
FirstGig: growth through direct outreach
Employer side
- Call HR managers, talent-acquisition leads and hiring decision-makers at target companies to introduce the platform and convert them into posting employers.
- Qualify each employer on hiring volume, role types and timeline. Log every call outcome.
- Onboard converted employers through to their first live posting. An employer who signs up and never posts is not a conversion.
- Follow up on posted roles to keep employers active and returning.
Candidate side
- Call and screen registered candidates to verify profile accuracy and activate them on the platform.
- Guide candidates through profile completion, project participation and credential verification.
- Run outreach into colleges,
student groups and fresher communities to build registration volume.
Reporting
- Maintain a daily call log with outcomes, not just call counts.
- Weekly reporting on employers converted, candidates activated and conversion rates at each step.
Requirements
- 0 to 3 years in recruitment, talent acquisition or HR consulting, with direct experience hiring sales roles.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for the UAE or wider GCC market, including working knowledge of visa status, notice periods and local hiring norms.
- Proven telephone outreach capability. You will make volume calls to both HR contacts and candidates, and you must be comfortable doing so daily.
- Ability to assess a sales candidate on evidence rather than presentation. You should be able to tell the difference between someone who carried a number and someone who sat next to a number.
- Solid written and spoken English.
- Disciplined record-keeping. Every candidate, every employer, every call, logged the same day.
- Comfortable operating across two businesses with different priorities and reporting into two people.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting for technology, software or consulting companies.
- Prior work in a recruitment agency or staffing firm where output was measured on placements.
- Experience in an early-stage or marketplace business where the growth function and the HR function overlap.
- Existing network of HR and talent-acquisition contacts
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹39,909.53 per month
Benefits
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Health insurance
- Internet reimbursement
Work Location: In person
