HOUSEKEEPING APPRENTICE

Hotel Management Diploma or Degree required

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Housekeeping Department in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel.
- Support the team in cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and service areas.
- Assist in bed making, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning as per hotel standards.
- Learn and follow proper housekeeping procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining and replenishing guest room amenities and supplies.
- Support the team in handling linen, uniforms, and housekeeping supplies.
- Assist with the proper collection, storage, and distribution of linen and laundry.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping stores and equipment.
- Assist in preparing rooms for guest arrivals and special requirements.
- Follow proper procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.




- Maintain a professional and courteous approach while interacting with guests and hotel staff.
- Support the Housekeeping Supervisor and team in daily operational activities.
- Participate in training programs to develop practical knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations.
- Follow all hotel policies related to grooming, discipline, hygiene, safety, and guest service.

Candidate Profile *
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management.
- Freshers are welcome; candidates with internship or hotel training experience will be preferred.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good grooming and professional appearance.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Strong team-player with a responsible and disciplined approach.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as per hotel requirements.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
